My Mistaken Melody™ is a claimed trademark. The ™ symbol does not represent federal registration. The ® symbol will not be used unless and until registration is granted for the applicable goods or services.
Playlist submissions
Submitting a song provides permission for My Mistaken Melody to open and review the supplied Spotify link and to contact the submitter at the supplied email address about that submission. The submitter represents that they are authorized to submit the song and contact information. Submission does not guarantee playlist placement, a response, continued placement, payment, or any business relationship. Ownership of the submitted music remains with its applicable rights holders.
Email communications
Joining the mailing list requires affirmative consent and is separate from contacting My Mistaken Melody or submitting a song. Marketing emails will provide an unsubscribe method. Contact-form and playlist-submission information will not be used to add someone to the marketing list without separate consent.
Third-party services
The site links to or may embed third-party platforms. My Mistaken Melody does not control their availability, content, security, privacy practices, transactions, or terms. Use of those services is between you and the applicable provider.
